Júnia Luiza Delgado joined the firm in 2022. Since 2021 she is also a consultant with Morais Leitão, the exclusive member for Portugal of Morais Leitão Legal Circle network.
Júnia has dual nationality, Brazilian and Cape Verdean. Throughout her academic and professional career, she has held professional internships with various public entities, both in Brazil and in Cape Verde, namely, at the Ombudsman of the Republic of Cape Verde (2017), in the homicide department of the Specialized Police Station of the Federal District (2017), and also in the legal office of the Presidency of the Republic of Cape Verde (2021).
Between 2019 and 2021 she completed the mandatory internship to join the Portuguese Bar Association, acting mainly in the areas of private law, namely corporate, insolvency and civil litigation.
She has a Master's Degree in Business and Labor Law, with a specialization in Labor Law, having lectured on the topic “The employee's duty of loyalty. A specific approach to the duty of non-compete”.
