Pedro Cruz Gonçalves

Pedro Cruz Gonçalves has been working with VPQ Advogados, exclusive member for Cape Verde of the network Morais Leitão Legal Circle, as an international consultant since 2024. With in-depth knowledge of Cape Verde's reality and business environment, he has actively cooperated with either public and private entities, national and international, in the development of several projects in different sectors.

He has extensive experience in tax litigation and provides tax advice to companies on a regular basis. Pedro also supports corporate reorganizations and advises individuals, with a strong emphasis on HNWI, regarding particular tax regimes such as NHR, framing and assisting on non-residents investments. In the last years, pairing his tax activity, he has been very active on immigration law, namely on “Golden Visa” and acquisition of nationality by descendants of Sephardic Jews.

Pedro co-coordinates Team Genesis, with strong experience in the issues concerning start-up and scalable companies.
